A trio of big longshots led to chaos in the mid-card Pick-5 on Wednesday night, Feb. 5 at Northfield Park and so the carryover of $2,375 rolls over to the Saturday evening, Feb. 8 card.  

The $1 Pick 5 wager, beginning in race six, features an estimated pool of $15,000. As always, it sports the player-friendly 14 per cent takeout.

The 50-cent non-jackpot Pick 6, beginning in the eighth race, will also have its own carryover of $1,922 and boasts the low 14 per cent takeout.

Post time for the 15-race program on Saturday is 6 p.m.

Northfield will slightly alter the upcoming live racing schedule to race on Saturday, Feb. 8, Monday, Feb. 10, Tuesday, Feb. 11 and Wednesday, Feb. 12. Monday through Wednesday features the Winners Choice drawings, where guests can turn losing mutuel tickets into cash prizes.
