Meadowlands Racetrack will be hosting monthly handicapping contests in 2025, with the winners entered into an invite-only $10,000 USD tournament in December.

The first contest of the year is set for this Friday, Jan. 17. The $1,000 USD prize pool will be split amongst the top four finishers.

Each monthly contest will follow the same format. Contestants must bet a minimum of five Meadowlands races. There is no minimum and no maximum bet per race. Bets can be made on any wager on the Meadowlands live wagering menu, including Win/Place/Show, Exacta, Trifecta, Pick 3/4/5/6, Daily Double, Superfecta and Pick X. Contestants keep all pari-mutuel winnings. Unlimited entries are allowed per person.

There is no entry fee (a $100 USD live money bankroll is required) for players and the prize pool is guaranteed at $1,000 USD, funded by Meadowlands Racetrack.

On the night of the contest, players must register/check-in at the Clubhouse Lobby by 6:20 p.m. A $100 USD betting card must be purchased to participate, as this is a live money/wagering contest. 

The top two finishers from each contest will be eligible to play in the $10,000 USD tournament on Dec. 13 (20 total players).
