Southwind Admiral Retired, To Stand Stud

Former New Jersey stakes winner, Southwind Admiral has been retired and will join the Delaware stallion ranks for the 2025 stallion season. 

A son of Tactical Landing, out of the Chapter Seven mare Amber Ella, Southwind Admiral was a seven-time winner at two. A winner of the elimination and final of the New Jersey Classic at age two, Southwind Admiral also captured the final of the New Jersey Sire Stake Standardbred Development Fund at Freehold Raceway during his rookie campaign.

Southwind Admiral retired with eight wins and 11 top-three finishes from 15 starts, a mark of 1:54.2f taken at Harrah's Philadelphia and $154,005 in earnings. He will stand his first season at stud at Adandy Farm in Greenwood, De. for a service fee of $2,000 USD.
