Longtime horseman Antonio 'Tony' Valente of Laval, Que. passed away on Jan. 7, 2025, at the age of 82.

He is survived by his wife, Claudette Brodeur; children, Nathalie (Paul) and Sylvain (Isabelle); five grandchildren, Jessica, Catherine, Mikael, Maxime and Mathis; great-granddaughter, Novalie; as well as brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, Jan. 19 from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Goyer Funeral Complex, located at 105 boul. Desjardins East, Sainte-Thérèse, QC. (450-473-5934). A ceremony will follow at 5:30 p.m.
