Canigetalouploup Sold, To Be Bred
Speedy stakes winning filly Canigetalouploup has been sold and will be retired to the broodmare ranks in 2025.
A daughter of Sweet Lou - Continual Velocity, Canigetalouploup p,3,1:50.1 ($409,118) led the Burke Stable consignment on Thursday, Dec. 12 at onGait.com when she sold for $227,465 ($161,500 USD).
A multiple stakes winner and race timed in 1:48.4s while competing against the best fillies in her division, Canigetalouploup is now owned by Steve Jones of New York's Cameo Hills Farm and will be bred to Huntsville.
Her stablemates, the Captaintreacherous four-year-old mare Hello Yes Hi p,3,1:51.3f ($313,483) and the Huntsville four-year-old mare Celia B Money p,4,1:50.4f ($207,859), sold for $81,690 ($58,000 USD) and $64,085 ($45,500 USD), respectively. Tim Wilson of Illinois bought Hello Yes Hi while Pollack Racing of Pennsylvania purchased Celia B Money.
Finally, Burke and partners sold a Sweet Lou share for $128,873 ($91,500 USD) to Charles Taylor of Ohio, doing business as Government Technology Services, and a share in Captaintreacherous for $114,085 ($81,000 USD) to Dana Parham of Florida.
