A total of 88 horses have been entered for qualifiers on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Cal Expo as the opening night approaches for the winter/spring Cal Expo harness meet on Dec. 13.
 
The qualifiers will begin at 11:30 a.m. (PST) and will be broadcast live on RTN and streamed at calxharness.com.
 
There will be 39 nights of racing under the Watch and Wager LLC banner. 
 
The first two weeks will see Friday racing only with a 6:45 p.m. first post, with Saturdays being added on Dec. 28 with a 6:30 p.m. starting time. 
 
A total of $420,000 USD in California Sire Stakes purses and $230,000 USD in late-closing events highlight the schedule that runs through May 2.
