Tyler Borth steered P L Rachel to victory in the $33,900 Harvest Series final for Ontario-sired sophomore trotting fillies on Monday evening, Nov. 25 at Woodbine Mohawk Park, tracking the favourite from the pocket before striking in the stretch.

Bettors' choice Nautilus B (Trevor Henry) controlled the fractions, stopping the timer at each mark in :28.1, :58 and 1:27.3. P L Rachel followed in second. Down the lane, P L Rachel met Nautilus B on even terms and then kept on going to score by 2-1/4 lengths in 1:56.2. Nautilus B took second and Saulsbrook Cami (James MacDonald) rounded out the top three.

Matthew Dupuis owns and trains the three-year-old daughter of Muscle Mass out of the Donato Hanover mare Beholder. The win was the filly's second of the year in 20 starts and fourth career victory in 26 starts. P L Rachel moved her lifetime sum to $75,810. She paid $13.70 to win.
