A Big Name In The 'Real World' Brings Her Experience, Knowledge & Passion To Racing In Alberta

""

It’s not often that someone from the ‘real world’ of big business turns their focus to helping harness racing, but in the case of ASHA’s new Executive Director, Nancy Retzlaff, that’s exactly the case. After growing up in a Western Canadian family involved in racing, Nancy spent over two decades, post university, working for companies like Bayer and Pfizer in the world of Big Pharma. With worldwide experience developing and launching products in places like Europe and Japan, Nancy moved back home from New York City during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and with a nudge from her now-late father, decided to set her sights on helping harness racing in Alberta thrive.
