Twin B Joe Fresh's Reign Atop Poll Continues
For the 15th consecutive week, Twin B Joe Fresh topped the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll with no newcomers to the Top 10 rankings in the Week 19 edition released on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
Twin B Joe Fresh, who was second in her Breeders Crown elimination on Saturday at The Meadowlands, remained No. 1 and was followed by retired Jiggy Jog S. Captain Albano, who won his Breeders Crown elimination, moved up one spot to No. 3. Idle Chantilly and Nijinsky, who also was second in his Crown elim, followed Captain Albano to complete the top five.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, which will be released every Tuesday through the remainder of the Grand Circuit season, does not determine U.S. Horse of the Year. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
