Page Reaches Career Milestone
Driver Chris Page won four races on Sunday night, Oct. 6 at MGM Northfield Park, collecting his 7,000th career win during the process.
Page entered the night with 6,997 wins. He inched closer to the milestone guiding Mcfehr to the victory in the opener and he pulled to within one of the milestone driving Scares Me to the win in the fourth race.
In the following race, Page recorded his 7,000th win in the $33,784 Buckeye Stallion Series Consolation for three-year-old colt and gelding trotters. He drove Papa Nordin to a front-end victory in 1:59.3 for trainer Danny Collins.
Page’s fourth win of the night was with Sweet Rose in the eighth race.
The 40-year-old horseman from Delaware, Ohio started his driving career in 2000. He earned first career win the following year with Titanic Fella at the Champaign County Fair in Urbana, Ohio. Page has driven winners of more than $76 million in purse earnings since.
