All Wrapped Up Gifted In Rideau Preferred Trot
All Wrapped Up delivered a win with a bow on top in the $10,000 Preferred Handicap Trot at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Thursday (Oct. 3) evening.
Guy Gagnon took his student to post five in the field of eight, eased off the gate, and tucked into sixth while the field hit the markers in :27 and :58.2. After the half, All Wrapped Up made his move, achieving second from the outside by the three-quarters in 1:25.1. With a :29.4 final burst, he 'wrapped up' the mile with a 1-1/2 length triumph in 1:55.1. Warrawee Xalt (Ryan Guy) finished second with Duke Lavictoire (Marie-Claude Auger) third.
Sylvain Cote and Michel Lagace co-own All Wrapped Up (Archangel - Jukebox Jackie). The eight-year-old gelding won his seventh race of the year, sitting just $5,340 shy of the six figure mark for the season. In his career, All Wrapped Up has banked $622,158 with 34 trips to the winner's circle. He paid $3.60 to win.
