Leaving from post four, Danger had to work hard to get to the front early, trotting to the outside of Social Chatter (Pete Wrenn) through a quick opening quarter of :26.4. Once clear, Danger kept rolling on the front to the half in :55.4 before trotting two lengths clear at three-quarters in 1:24.2. The advantage quickly dissipated in the lane as Brookview Fancy came under fire from all angles in the lane. Tarshish got the head start to her inside, squirting through to front to cross the wire first in by 1-1/2 lengths in a career best of 1:53. Vel Cinderella (Kyle Wilfong) emerged atop a five-horse photo for place, with Infatuation (John De Long) finishing third.
