Always B Miki On The Move

The owners of world champion Always B Miki have announced that the stallion will have a new home for the 2025 breeding season.

Always B Miki will relocate to Diamond Creek's Kentucky stallion barn, where he will join Gimpanzee as one of the few elite Kentucky resident stallions.

"With Miki's sweep of the KYSS Championships and continued success at The Red Mile, it just makes sense to bring him here," said Bluestone’s Mitchel Skolnick. "With this move, we can continue to reward the yearling buyers for their support of Miki."

The move from Pennsylvania to Kentucky will also mean large financial rewards for those owning many of his foals going forward. In addition to Kentucky eligibility, Always B Miki's yearlings from resident mares will qualify for the 50 per cent owners’ bonus on all legs of the Kentucky Sire Stakes.

"I have always thought Kentucky would be the perfect spot for Always B Miki," said Diamond Creek's Adam Bowden, "The program is strong and will reward a home run stallion like Miki."

Always B Miki has produced six millionaires and seven Breeders Crown champions during his stallion career, led by double millionaires Sylvia Hanover and Grace Hill and $1.7 million winner Perfect Sting, who was a big hit on opening night at the 2024 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale with his first crop selling for nearly $300,000 per foal on average.
