B On The Hunt Wires Fraser Distaff Preferred
B On The Hunt drew post three in her third appearance in the $10,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap Pace at Fraser Downs and the filly found her way into the winner's circle among the top company Thursday (Sept. 26) evening.
The daughter of Huntsville - Twin B Elite and driver Scott Knight cut the mile with splits in :27.4, :59.2, and 1:27.4, continuing home uncontested to win by 2-1/2 lengths in 1:56.1. Stablemate Arrhythmic Dream (Brad Watt) finished second with Hang On Sloopy (Blaine Chappell) third.
The triumph was her third in 16 starts this year and her seventh career victory in 46 starts. She moved her lifetime sum to $111,863. B On The Hunt is trained by Jim Marino for Paul Sanders. She returned $3.20 as the bettors' choice.
