Cathy Hanover Rolls To Career Best At Meadows
Cathy Hanover roared three-wide through the final turn and rolled home in a career-best 1:51.3 in the Wednesday, Sept. 11 feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $15,541 filly and mare conditioned pace.
Cathy Hanover got away third from the rail, and when Hunter Myers asked her for pace past the three-quarters, she kicked past the hard-used leader, Creme Delight, and held off the unlucky Infinite Symbol A, who found a late seam but came up a head short. Creme Delight saved show.
Johnny Yoder trains Cathy Hanover, a five-year-old daughter of Betting Line-Code One Hanover who now boasts a lifetime bankroll of $221,798, for Todd’s Auto.
Thursday’s card at The Meadows features a $513.12 carryover in the Early Pentafecta (race four). First post is 12:45 p.m.
