Action Broadway Trot Begins At Meadows
Away fourth, Court Street launched a determined uncovered bid that carried her to victory in Wednesday’s Action Broadway Trot at The Meadows in 1:57.1, the fastest mile this year by a three-year-old filly on a five-eighths-mile track

Court Street broke stride while parked out in her last start, but she was all business Wednesday for trainer-driver Ray Paver, overtaking the leader, Miss Chip K, and drawing off to triumph by three and a half lengths. Komma Ka Z finished second while Miss Chip K saved show. Harry and Iris Horowitz bred and own Court Street, a daughter of SJs Caviar-Hollybrook Lane.
Cocktail Attire and Knockout Doll also captured $15,000 opening leg divisions in the series named for Action Broadway, the 2011 Dan Patch Award winner as the Trotting Mare of the Year.
Brett Miller drove four winners on the 15-race card.
