Harness racing's top ranked horse, Twin B Joe Fresh tuned up for her next stakes test with a morning stroll around The Meadowlands' East Rutherford, N.J. oval on Saturday, Aug. 31.

Twin B Joe Fresh ranged up to command from post four and strolled through the first 75 per cent of her mile. After fractions of :29.1, :58.1 and 1:26.2, driver Dexter Dunn allowed the powerful pacer to let it out a notch and she did — a :26.3 final quarter under snug lines to trip the timer in 1:53.

Trained and co-owned by new U.S. Hall of Famer Chris Ryder, double millionaire Twin B Joe Fresh (Roll With Joe - Fresh Breeze) sports a summary of 7-1-0 from eight seasonal starts and a lifetime summary of 26-6-1 from 35 outings. She's co-owned by driver Dunn, Pete Trebotica of Bordentown, N.J. and Barry Spak of Thornton, Pa., and those connections will send Twin B Joe Fresh back north of the border for the eliminations of the Milton Stakes on Saturday,. Sept. 7 at Woodbine Mohawk Park. 

Stablemate Gem Quality clocked the fastest mile of the morning at The Big M as the sophomore son of Captain Crunch - Twinkle made every call a winning one for driver Jason Bartlett. The 2023 Breeders Crown winner, owned by Let It Ride Stables Inc., Odds On Racing, Enviro Stables Ltd. and Brad Grant, carved out fractions of :29.1, :57.2 and 1:25.4 before closing the performance with a :25.4 solo to trip the timer in a sparkling 1:51.3.
