The Monday night, Aug. 26 program at Northfield Park was not the kindest to Pick-5 bettors, resulting in a $2,823 carryover. The pool will roll over to the mid-week Wednesday night special on Aug. 28.

The $1 wager beginning in race six will feature an enticing estimated pool of $20,000 and as always sports the player friendly 14 per cent takeout. There will also be a 50-cent pick-6 carryover of $3,839 beginning in the eighth race.  

Post time for the 15-race program on Wednesday is 6 p.m.

Northfield Park alters the live racing schedule slightly next week in observance of Labour Day. The upcoming racing schedule is as follows: Wednesday, Aug. 28, Saturday, Aug. 31, Sunday, Sept. 1 and Tuesday, Sept. 3.
