Plainridge Park canceled live harness racing after the third race on Thursday, Aug. 15 due to the extremely severe storms that rolled along the Cape and through Norfolk County this afternoon. The unforecast disturbance provided dangerous lightning, grandstand-shaking thunder and an extended deluge of rain that forced the eventual stoppage of action. 

Live racing will resume at Plainridge Park on Monday, Aug. 19 with first post time at 4 p.m.
