Vernon Downs leading driver Leon Bailey drove five winners on the Saturday, July 20 card of harness racing.

Bailey won five of the day's 12 races, including the $10,274 featured conditioned pace with 2-5 favourite War Of Will ($2.90), who rallied three-wide as the field reached the stretch to take the lead then held off the pylon-skimming Galactic Storm in 1:54.4 for trainer Jeff Sorenson and Betcha Win Stable.

Bailey also teamed up with Sorenson for a victory with Rally Your Crew ($8.10).

His other wins were courtesy of Ma The Meatloaf ($17.60) from the James Rothfuss stable, the Michelle Warner-trained Ocean Blue ($3.20) and Woodside Gabe ($2.70) for conditioner Amanda Bailey.

Live harness racing resumes at Vernon Downs on Friday, July 26, with special post time at 12:15 p.m.
