War Of Will rallied late and captured the featured $10,273 conditioned pace at Vernon Downs on Saturday, July 6.

Le Massif (Steeven Genois) went to the front and led to the quarter in :28.2. He used a :29.1 second quarter to be first to the half in :57.3 and cruised to three-quarters in 1:25. As the field reached the stretch, War Of Will made a three-wide move coming at Le Massif. With Leon Bailey at the reins, War Of Will surged right on by to win in 1:52.4 by two lengths. Le Massif had to settle for second money and Galactic Storm (Jimmy Whittemore) finished third.

War Of Will is five-year-old gelding by Captaintreacherous. He is owned by Robert Bradley and trained by Jeff Sorenson. The pacer has won three times this season from 19 starts and now has nine career victories. War Of Will has banked $34,348 in 2024 and displays career earnings of $84,153. He paid $7.70 to win.

Vernon Downs returns with live racing on Thursday, July 11 at 4 p.m. There's no racing on Friday, July 12 because of a Night Ranger concert.
