North America Cup To Be Live Streamed
Woodbine Entertainment has announced a special live stream presentation of the 41st Pepsi North America Cup for this Saturday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
“Woodbine Entertainment Presents: The Pepsi North America Cup” will be a one-hour, network style broadcast produced by Woodbine’s award-winning broadcast team. The presentation will feature the $1 million Pepsi North America Cup and include coverage of the $305,000 Roses Are Red Stakes.
The broadcast, which begins at 10 p.m. EDT, will be hosted by Greg Blanchard and Mark McKelvie, with paddock reporting from Alanna Nolan.
The Pepsi North America Cup streaming show will include multiple feature pieces on those competing in Saturday’s marquee races, plus a more focused look on storylines and the history of the North America Cup.
The live streaming special will be available globally to racing fans through Woodbine’s YouTube channel, Facebook page and website.
Saturday’s broadcast is the first of three live streaming specials this season from Woodbine Mohawk Park. The Canadian Pacing Derby and Maple Leaf Trot on Saturday, Aug. 31 and the Mohawk Million on Saturday, Sept. 21 will also have live specials.
The $1 million Pepsi North America Cup is the marquee race on a stakes-filled $2.5 million-plus card this Saturday. Post time for the full card is 6:30 p.m.
For the first time ever, DRF en Español will be live onsite at Woodbine Mohawk Park to provide streaming coverage of the North America Cup in Spanish. The DRF en Español coverage will provide analysis and race calls in Spanish.
