Hoosier To Host Breakfast At The Hop

Harness racing at Hoosier Park

Beginning on Saturday, June 8, Harrah’s Hoosier Park will host Breakfast at the Hop to accompany the Saturday morning qualifiers during the month of June. Guests can enjoy complimentary danishes and coffee in the outdoor recreational area on the north end of the track apron while watching the sport’s future stars take to the track during qualifiers for two-year-olds.

Breakfast at the Hop will have something for guests brand new to the sport, as well as those already familiar with racing. From 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Harrah’s Hoosier Park on-air analysts Emily Gaskin and Jacob Rheinheimer will be joined by various horsemen to explain what horsemen are looking for from their young pupils on the track, and how that will translate to racing under the lights. This background will accompany various giveaways taking place throughout the session, sponsored by the Indiana Standardbred Association. Should rain impact affairs, Breakfast at the Hop will be hosted in the Terrace Showroom Suites located in the grandstand area below Pegasus Bar.

Saturdays in June will also feature to the return of the Hop Be-Bop concert series. Every Saturday from 7-10 p.m. in the Hop, guests will find a local musician along with a food truck, corn hole and other outdoor activities. The Hop Be-Bop will kick off on Saturday, June 1 with musician Frank Bradford.
