Tioga Downs plays host to two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) for sophomore pacing fillies on Sunday, June 2.

Tarrific (Jason Bartlett) is the 8-5 morning line favourite in the $58,100 USD first division. The filly by Huntsville has four seconds and a third in nine career starts.  She is trained by Chris Ryder.

Her top competitor appears to be the Jeffrey Smith-trained Verity Blue Chip (Jim Marohn Jr.).  The filly by Courtly Choice is two-for-two in her young career.

Camerican (Joe Bongiorno) is the 5-2 favourite in the $59,200 USD second division. The filly by American Ideal is trained by Ron Burke. She is perfect in her 2024 appearances and boasts four career victories.

Leannes Choice (Marcus Miller) is her top rival. Trained by Erv Miller, the filly by Courtly Choice (pictured above) has three career wins.
