NE Instant Racing Bill Moves Along
According to a report, the push for 'instant racing' terminals in the State of Nebraska survived a second vote in the state legislature on Thursday, March 29
.
An article by the Omaha World-Herald explains that Legislative Bill 806 passed by a vote of 26-18 and will now move onto a third step in the process.
The report has quoted Senator Bill Avery as saying that even if the bill makes it through the next round of voting, "there is a strong possibility the governor will veto it."
