Terry Davidson Passes
Longtime harness racing industry participant Terry Davidson of Meaford, Ont., passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 in his 81st year.
Terry’s love for his family and his passion for horses were his life. His son Kevin followed in his footsteps. In 1989, Terry achieved the Trainer Award and Kevin achieved the Driver Award at Hanover Raceway. Terry worked for more than 20 years at Amerock as Supervisor of the paint shop.
Mr. Davidson is survived by his wife Shirley Davidson (nee Cowper). He will be missed by his son Kevin and partner Carla, and his daughter Teryl. He was the proud grandfather of Calli, Caitlin and Cassandra, and great grandfather of Ziya.
He will be remembered fondly by his sister Myrna Fulford and her husband Merv, and his sister-in-law Jean Davidson.
A private family gathering will take place.
