SC Presents Episode Two Of The Road To The Nationals
Enjoy the second episode of Standardbred Canada's five-part series The Road to the Nationals, which offers fans a general overview heading into each Regional Driving Championship (RDC) race card from a handicapping perspective, with the final installment highlighting the main event taking place in Trois-Rivieres, Que., at Hippodrome 3R, host of the 2024 National Driving Championship (NDC), which takes place on July 5.
Filmed out of the Standardbred Canada (SC) headquarters, and produced by Jeff Porchak, SC's Director of Digital Communications, SC's Road to the Nationals is co-hosted by Dan Fisher, Managing Director of TROT Magazine, and John Rallis, Associate Editor of TROT Magazine.
In episode two, Fisher and Rallis delve into handicapping the 2024 Western RDC to be contested at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino on Saturday, May 11, with the help of a couple of special guest interviews, including one with WRDC contender Dave Kelly.

The first race post time for the WRDC card of harness racing is 12:45 p.m. (MDT) / 2:45 p.m. (EDT), with the first WRDC race taking place in Race 4. The WRDC races will take place in Races 4 through 11.

Points for the WRDC will be awarded in each race according to the official order of finish: 15 points(1st), 10(2), 7(3), 5(4), 4(5), 3(6), 2(7), 1(8).
