Timeisonmyside Wins Fifth Straight In Stakes Final
Timeisonmyside drew away late and captured Saturday’s $27,123 final of the Tom Kirwan Memorial Pace for three-year-old colts and geldings — his fifth straight win overall — at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.
Timeisonmyside was hammered down to 1-5, and Anthony MacDonald wasted little time showing that the odds were justified, powering Timeisonmyside to the point at the quarter. Senditinjim briefly challenged after moving three wide near the three-quarters, but Timeisonmyside put him in his rear-view mirror in the lane. The Captain Crunch-Macharoundtheclock gelding triumphed in a career-best 1:51.1, 3-3/4 lengths better than Senditinjim. Cheyenne Tuff completed the ticket.
