Trevor Atkinson Passes
Longtime harness racing industry participant Trevor Glen 'Trevor' Atkinson of Campbellford, Ont. passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024 at the age of 77.
The best story teller to his many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews, Trevor enjoyed many years behind a sulky of Standardbed racehorses, listening to his favourite radio stations CKOL and Willie’s Roadhouse.
Married to the love of his life Connie (Mullins) for 55 years. Predeceased by his parents Ted (2007) and Nell (1988). Dear nephew to Evelyn, and Bill Whittaker. Cherished brother to David (Cathy), George (Angela), and sister Janice Gartner. Adored father to Kerry (R.B.) Bandy, Corey (Tim) Rawn, Charity (Sean) Hannigan, Bev Bandy, Amy (Kirk) Fleming. Proud Grandfather to Aislyn (Matt) Sallows, Tyler Bandy (Alexa), Kjell Rawn (Felicity), Caitlyn Rawn, Kieran Hannigan (Jess), Brendan Hannigan, Levi Bandy (Lauren), Larissa Bandy, Kaiden Fleming (Hillary), Leah Fleming. Admired Great Grandpa to Lainey Jay Sallows. Missed by his furry friend Clyde.
