Nominations for stakes events held at Eldorado Scioto Downs – the Moni Maker, Nadia Lobell and Ohio State Fair races – are due on March 15.

The Nadia Lobell for three-year-old pacing fillies and the Moni Maker for three-year-old trotting fillies will move to Scioto for 2024 and be held on Saturday, July 6. The nomination fee for both $120,000 USD events is $750 USD. The $1,000 USD sustaining payment will be due on April 15, with the declaration fee set at $1,500 USD. Nomination and sustaining payments should be made out and mailed to The Red Mile.

The Ohio State Fair races for Ohio-sired two and three-year-olds also have a nomination fee due on March 15. That fee is $250 USD and should be made payable and sent to the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association. Ohio State Fair races will be held on Aug. 1-3 at Scioto.

Conditions for all events are available on the USTA website at horsemen.ustrotting.com.

Races will be held Tuesday-Saturday, with special holiday cards on Memorial Day and Labour Day taking place instead of the Tuesday card that week. First post will be 5:45 p.m. each day except for Friday, Sept. 13, which will have a 6:15 p.m. post to help accommodate horsepeople attending the Ohio Selected Yearling Sale.
