Winbak Welcomes Farm's First Foals Of 2024
Winbak Farm of Canada and Winbak Farm of Maryland have welcomed its first foals of 2024.
On Wednesday, Jan. 10, Winbak Farm of Canada's first foal, a Cattlewash-Hope For Paddy filly, was born at 10:15 p.m. Hope For Paddy, p, 2, 1:59.2f; 1:52.1s; 1:50.1s ($572,177), was a 35-time winner.
On Saturday, Jan. 13, Winbak Farm of Maryland welcomed its first foal, a Green Manalishi S-Young Michelle filly, at 9:55 p.m. This is the first foal from the mare, who is a half-sister to Michelles Way, 3, 1:56.1s ($248,072).
Both broodmares and their foals are doing well.
Visit the Winbak Farm Facebook page to submit your name ideas for these foals. Many foals will be posted this season for fans to have a chance to name a future racehorse. Several names have been used in recent years.
