So Frisky, Delgado Top Western Fair Preferreds
A pair of $11,000 co-featured Preferreds topped the Tuesday (Jan. 16) evening card at The Raceway at the Western Fair District with So Frisky winning the split for the pacing mares and Delgado taking the other split for trotters.
So Frisky (pictured above) took the quickest way around the track with a gate-to-wire trip in the $11,000 Distaff Preferred Pace.
Colin Kelly and the David Daigneault-conditioned mare set panels in :29, :59.1 and 1:28.3 before sprinting home to a 3-1/4 length victory in 1:59.2. Coz Im Special (J Harris) took second and Laila Blue (Samuel Fillion) grabbed third.

As the first panel was clicked in :29, Delgado sat second on the helmet of Brett MacDonald and Power And Grace. After that split, Delgado swept to the top. Setting two more panels in 1:00 and 1:30.1, Delgado opened up to win by three lengths in 2:01.2. Saulsgood (Tyler Borth) finished second and Arrakis (Travis Henry) completed the top three.
