Meadowlands Announces January Events
A new year of racing at Meadowlands Racetrack kicks off this Friday, Jan. 5 and Saturday, Jan. 6 with a 6:20 p.m. post time.
The Meadowlands Winter Meet Survival Challenge, powered by 123Racing, starts on Jan. 5. Cash prizes and Meadowlands swag will be up for grabs in this free online competition. The grand prize is $750 plus a Meadowlands swag package. Back again for the challenge is the monthly $100 winner. The much anticipated 2024 calendar giveaway takes place on Jan. 6. Beginning at 6 p.m., the first 500 guests receive a commemorative calendar filled with images of the sport’s greatest horses and drivers in action from the 2023 racing season.
Later this month, on Saturday, Jan. 20, Meadowlands will feature a tour of Asian flavours in a five-course dinner that features a cocktail paired to each course. Dinner host Emily West, the New 102.7 midday host, will talk about the football games, wagering basics and give out some tips for the night's harness races. A UFC 297 watch party in the track's second-floor Gallery with Jon Bones Jones meet and greet will also take place on Jan. 20.
On Saturday, Jan. 27, the track will host a National Seton Hall watch party in the second-floor Gallery as the Pirates take on number 10 ranked Marquette. Game time is 1 p.m.
The FanDuel Sportsbook, located inside the Meadowlands Racetrack, is a sports bettors paradise for playoff football action with plenty of HD TVs, self-service and teller machines, bar and food service.
