On Wednesday, Dec. 20, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) released the approved 2024 race date schedules for some of Ontario's racetracks.

In accordance with the recommendations of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and Ontario Racing (OR), the Registrar issued the 2024 race date schedules for the following Standardbred racetracks:

• Clinton Raceway: 15 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Flamboro Downs: 130 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Georgian Downs: 39 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Grand River Raceway: 48 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Hanover Raceway: 15 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Hiawatha Horse Park & Entertainment Centre: 21 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Woodbine Mohawk Park: 222 days - View Race Date Schedule

Race dates for the following racetracks have not yet been approved: Dresden Raceway, Kawartha Downs, Leamington Raceway, Rideau Carleton Raceway and The Raceway at Western Fair District.

The AGCO also released 2024 race date schedules for the following Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred tracks:

• Ajax Downs: 25 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Fort Erie Racetrack: 40 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Woodbine Racetrack: 129 days - View Race Date Schedule
