Im No Outlaw Wires Saratoga Open Pacers

Im No Outlaw and driver Jay Randall secured a gate-to-wire triumph in the featured $15,000 Winners Over/Open Handicap Pace on Saturday evening (Nov. 25) at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

Parked three-wide to the quarter in :27.1, the Jackie Greene student fought for the lead. Once Im No Outlaw N achieved open ground from the pylons, he soared through panels in :56 and 1:24.2 before posting a 3-3/4-length triumph in 1:53.1 in the feature. Primo Uomo (John MacDonald) finished second and American Zest A (Matthew Athearn) grabbed third.

Im No Outlaw has now won two of his last three starts in Saratoga's Open class. Owned by Kellogg Racing Stables LLC and Jackie Greene Stables LLC, the eight-year-old gelded son of Bettors Delight earned his sixth win of the year from 29 starts and his 27th career tally, pushing his lifetime bankroll to $224,077. 

Andy Gardner sent three trainees to the track on Saturday evening as victors in their respective classes at Saratoga.

Horsche got the ball rolling in race three with a victory in a blanket finish at the wire in a conditioned pace worth $9,500. The Gardner student, with Jim Devaux in tow, scored by a head in 1:54.3 for owner Room4040 LLC Stables. 

In race four, Way Too Sweet and Devaux doubled up tallies for Gardner with a one-length triumph in 1:56.2. Way Too Sweet took the first leg of the Charlie Hoffman Pace, worth $10,000, for owners George Tackley and Wendy Storrier.

Gardner returned for his third win photo of the night with East End, driven by Billy Dobson, in the $11,500 conditioned pace. Owned by Percy Elkins, East End scored by three-quarters of a length in 1:52.4 to complete the training hat trick.

Devaux and Brett Beckwith each scored with four driving wins apiece on the card.
