Racing at the Big Butler Fair in Pennsylvania on Wednesday afternoon (June 28) has been cancelled.

While weather cancellations are not unusual along the fair circuit, this group of two-year-olds lost their racing opportunity because of safety concerns about the air quality in westcentral Pennsylvania.

The situation for Thursday’s card for three-year-olds is being closely monitored and early prospects look better for racing tomorrow. Notification will be made if the Thursday card also has to be cancelled.
