BJ Lorado Bags Tioga Feature
BJ Lorado slipped through late to capture the $9,500 featured trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (June 24).
BJ Lorado was first to the quarter in :28.2. Jammin Jack took control with a lap to go. He was first to the half in :58.2. Worthy Of Honor came first-up to challenge going down the backstretch. Jammin Jack was first to three-quarters in 1:27.1. As they reached the stretch, Jammin Jack and Worthy Of Honor continued to battle. BJ Lorado squeezed through an opening by the pylons and got by to win in 1:57.3. Jammin Jack held on for second. Worthy Of Honor got third money.
BJ Lorado is a nine-year-old gelding by Bo W. He is trained by Marc Major for owners Diane and Michael Norcross. It was his first win this season from seven starts and he now has 42 victories in his career. Aaron Byron drove the $10.20 winner.
Byron and Tyler Miller had driving doubles.
