Ontario Racing Sponsors WDC Report
Ontario Racing will sponsor a World Driving Championship Report video feature in partnership with Standardbred Canada during the 2023 World Driving Championship (WDC).
Doug McNair, Canada’s representative for the 2023 WDC, will provide a video recap of the four WDC competition legs in “The 2023 WDC Report.”
“We want to keep racing fans and the racing community up to date on all of the WDC legs while getting Doug’s insight and perspective on the competition,” said Karen Allen, Promotions and Industry Development Coordinator for Ontario Racing. “This is also a great opportunity to promote racing in Ontario by showcasing one of our star drivers to a global audience.”
Standardbred Canada will produce each report, which will be posted on standardbredcanada.ca and ontarioracing.com following each WDC leg.
Standardbred Canada talked to Doug McNair to get his take on this year’s WDC Report.
Ten drivers from around the world will compete in 20 races on four different racetracks in three countries for the 2023 World Driving Championship title. The WDC kicks off on Sunday, Aug. 13 in Wolvega in the Netherlands and finishes with the fourth and final leg on Friday, Aug. 18 in Berlin, Germany.
