Gabe Prewitt has joined The Red Mile as Vice President of Racing & Sports Wagering Operations. 

Prewitt was formerly Director of Racing with Caesars Entertainment, overseeing racing operations at five properties while primarily based at Pompano Park in Pompano Beach, Florida. Earlier this month, Caesars Entertainment announced an agreement with Keeneland/Red Mile to open central Kentucky’s only brick-and-mortar retail sportsbook locations, subject to regulatory approvals from the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. 

Prewitt has been a part of the broadcast team on many of harness racing’s biggest days, including national broadcasts featured on CBS Sports, FS1/2 and SNY networks.  He has also served as track announcer at several venues, including The Red Mile since 2007.
