Ed Hensley drove Major League N to victory in the $12,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred on Wednesday evening (May 24) at The Raceway at the Western Fair District.

Hensley and Major League N settled in for the pocket trip behind Heavens Showgirl A (Tyler Moore) through the quarter in :28.2 and half in :57. The pair were out and on the move before the three-quarters in 1:25.3. Down the stretch, Major League N fended off challengers to win by a length in 1:55.1. Exotic Dragon (Travis Cullen) was second and Randomirogeo (Travis Henry) finished third.

Major League N is a 10-year-old mare owned by Ed and Ashleigh Hensley. Ashleigh trains the winner of 30 races and $303,268 in career earnings. Major League N boasts a record of 4-4-1 in 13 starts this season.
