Rosecroft Raceway Qualifier Report
Over a track rated as fast, but with a two second allowance given for howling winds, 22 of the 23 horses that competed qualified on Saturday morning at Rosecroft Raceway

The day’s most impressive mile was put up by I Told Gordy, who backed off the half and out-sprinted a determined Devils Ivy to score a 1:57.2 mile. Devils Ivy was valiant in defeat finishing two lengths back at the wire.
Russell Foster had a big morning with two wins and two seconds in four drives. Veteran Frank Milby scored with the above-mentioned I Told Gordy, while Chris Welty scored a solid win with the Welty barn’s newcomer House On Fire. Talented, young teamster Brandon Henley drove Scootin Cammie to victory in the finale.
Horsemen seemed pleased with the condition of the track and are looking forward to returning and qualifying some more horses for the meet next Friday at 11 a.m. The box will close Thursday at noon for these qualifiers.
Horsemen will be able to get licensed next Friday during qualifiers and are reminded that the box for opening night Saturday, March 10 will open Tuesday March 6 at 11 a.m. and close at 2 p.m.
