Allard Brothers Dominate Again

Brothers Simon and Rene Allard, Canada’s leading percentage driver and trainer so far this year, enjoyed another successful evening at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday

Rene teamed up with his brother for a training triple and Simon went on to win four more races. Rene's last hat trick at the Ottawa oval was just four days ago, during a card which Simon drove a total of five winners.

The Allards dominated the middle portion of Sunday's 15-race card scoring wins with Annika S ($6.70), Hold Your Hat ($2.60), and Lombo Skyrider A ($4.60). Amidst those races, Simon also drove Sack Full Of Gold ($4.20) to victory for partner Sophie Desroches, giving him four wins in a row. Simon also went back-to-back with Borntobearockstar ($24.90) for trainer Lesley Newland, Wolf Ted Creek ($4.50) for conditioner Luc Loyer, and Tutor Hanover ($7) for first time winning trainer Ginette Rancourt to close out the card.

Rene’s training triple pushed his 2012 win total to 36 while Simon's seven driving scores lifted his to 43.
