Davis Jr. First To 100
After booking off the latter part of Friday night's card at Woodbine Racetrack as a result of a pre-race mishap, driver Billy Davis Jr. was back in the bike on Saturday afternoon and no worse for wear
.
With two wins at Flamboro Downs, he's the first driver in North America to hit the 100-win marker this year. Davis Jr. sent B B Crash ($2.60), trained by his father Bill Davis, down the road to win the fourth race by nearly 10 lengths and later converted a pocket trip into a three-quarter length tally with the Jay Cochlin-trained Milliondollarkevin ($3.40) in the 10th race.
Anthony MacDonald and J.R. Plante are tied for second in the Canadian drivers standings with 50 wins each. Trevor Henry follows with 48 wins. Davis Jr. also gets the nod as the top driver in Canada for earnings with over $800,000 in purses already banked this year.
Davis Jr. will look to extend his lead in the standings during Woodbine's card tonight as he is listed to drive in 10 races.

What a trooper !!! Has been
What a trooper !!! Has been dumped when the bit broke, is off a few hours on Friday night, then back in the bike for Sat. at Flamborough.Wins 2 at Flam.
This guy has something special in winning races. I'm picking that he'll win 3 races at Woodbine, giving him 5 for Sat.
He's nice and small, as well. I like a small driver, especially when they are starting out.
