Perfect Twenty dominated in the $50,950 DSBF Late Closer Final for three-year-old colt and gelding trotters at Bally's Dover on Tuesday evening (March 28).
Driver Tim Tetrick wasted little time, sending Perfect Twenty to the top. Bettors' choice Perfect Twenty carved out fractions of :29.3, :58.3 and 1:28 before winning by four lengths in 1:57.3. Perfect Twenty paid $2.40 to win.
Clifford Green trains Perfect Twenty for owner LCT Stable of New Holland, Pennsylvania. The son of Yankee Royalty pushed his career earnings over $180,000.
Green hit the trifecta as he entered three trotters into the final and finished first, second and third. Stablemates Hespookshescores (Russell Foster) finished second and Reddy Fox (Art Stafford Jr.) was third.
