At the training centers, trainers are equally impressed with what they are seeing.

Chris Ryder trained Bettors Wish to back-to-back Dan Patch Three-Year-Old Pacing Colt and Older Male Pacer of the Year awards.

"I have nine Bettors Wish two-year-olds training down," said Ryder. "They are a lot like him: sensible, quick and correct. Bettors Wish colts and fillies are in my best sets of two-year-olds in training. Everyone [I know] who has one likes them."
