First Foal For Warrawee Ubeaut

Warrawee Ubeaut

The co-fastest two-year-old in harness racing history and fastest freshman filly of all time, Warrawee Ubeaut recently welcomed her first foal.

A Dan Patch Award winner at both two and three, Warrawee Ubeaut (Sweet Lou - Great Memories) won 23 of her 55 lifetime starts and earned more than $2 million during her four seasons on the racetrack. She took her lifetime mark at two, scorching the clay surface at The Red Mile in 1:48.3 to make her the fastest freshman regardless of gender. In three of her four seasons full of major stakes wins — including two Breeders Crowns and the Jugette in world record time — she posted winning miles faster than 1:49 under the tutelage of trainer Ron Burke.

Now a broodmare in the roster of New York's Crawford Farms, Warrawee Ubeaut recently had her first foal - a colt sired by 2020 U.S. Horse of the Year Tall Dark Stranger, born on Feb. 6.
