Longtime harness racing industry participant Donald Gerald 'Don' Walsh of Saskatoon, Sask. and formerly of Truro, N.S. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023 after a lengthy and determined battle with cancer at the age of 80.

Don was lucky to have spent his whole life doing what he loved, and that was being an owner, trainer and driver of Standardbred racehorses all across Canada.

Survived by his wife Coleen; special niece Janet MacDonell of Port Hood, N.S.; brother Doug Walsh of Port Hood, N.S. and sister Dianne Gagnon of Surrey, B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Don’s request there will be no funeral service held. Arrangements entrusted to Aime Laventure.
