Uptown Callie Upsets In Meadows Feature
Uptown Callie rallied from worst to first through the stretch and pulled off the 8-1 upset in Tuesday’s feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,000 filly & mare claiming pace.
Uptown Callie trailed by 4-1/2 lengths heading into the final turn when Brady Brown showed her racetrack. The five-year-old daughter of Betterthancheddar-Mid Town caught VH Princess Brea in deep stretch and downed her by a neck in 1:54, with Priceless Shadow a closing third.
Tyler Stillings trains Uptown Callie, who lifted her lifetime earnings to $135,047, for Rags To Riches Of PA Llc.
Jack Killeen, Hunter Myers, Dave Palone and trainer Dirk Simpson each collected three wins on the 13-race card.
