American Risk, Rennison Star In Truro Final Card
Truro Raceway closed out its 2022 season on Sunday (Dec. 18) afternoon and American Risk added one more tally to George Rennison's bid for the training title after winning the Winners Over feature.
American Risk, a six-year-old son of American Ideal and the Art Major mare Kissing Bandit, concluded his season at Truro with a gate-to-wire victory in the $2,500 feature class in 1:58.3 with Andrew Campbell in the bike. Risky Bizz Group of Truro, N.S. owns the winner of 28 races and more than $100,000 in career earnings. Of his 11 victories this year, American Risk has found his way to the Truro winner's circle nine times.
George Rennison earned the 2022 Truro Raceway training title with his stable winning 40 races this season. Paul Langille was second with 25 victories while Daniel Romo was third with 14 wins.
The driving title was won by Paul Langille, who made 40 trips to the winner's circle this season. Darren Crowe was second with 37 wins and Todd Trites was third with 33 wins.
