Ontario Lotteries Going Online In 2012

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has announced that it is in the process of selecting a firm to initiate and run its online offerings, which would see people be able to utilize the internet to buy lottery tickets, play video poker, and more by the end of 2012

.

"People have said that they want to make sure they get paid when they play internet gaming, and that is one of the things they can trust with OLG in terms of the safety, security and the responsible gaming aspect of it as well," OLG Spokesman Tony Bitonti said during a report by CTV News Toronto.

The report also explains that in addition to computers, the OLG's customers will have the ability to place wagers from their smartphones.
